The bunnies ATE my marigold seedlings. Sigh. Perhaps I should’ve bought plants instead of planting seeds…

Hi Ikhlas! The bunnies look like Peter Rabbit bunnies–gray-brown cottontails. They hide under bushes during the day. Mostly. And now they’ve eaten two of my sweet pepper plants. Mr. Hoyt has cut the ends off of 2 liter plastic pop bottles and stuck them around the rest of the plants. Don’t know if this will work or not.

BTW, inre: bunnies (southern Indiana) – we plant marigolds around the garden to keep them away (a flat for a ~20′x20′ garden). Knock on wood, we’re un-nibbled to date. I’m not sure if this is “scientifically proven” – I’ve heard they don’t like the smell – but it can’t hurt, can it?:)
