I’ve got my manicure, I’ve got my pedicure, and I’m almost all packed for the Romance Writers of America Conference in Washington D.C. this week. The conference is held at the Marriott Hotel in Wardman Park. If you’ll be attending and would like to stop by and say hello,  here are the events where I’ll be appearing:

• Wednesday, July 15th, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall: Readers for Life Literacy Autographing

This event is open to the public. You may bring your own books to be signed, but since this is a charity fundraiser, attendees are encouraged to buy there as well.

• Friday, July 17th, 9:45-10:45 a.m. in Virginia C: I’ll be presenting my workshop, Sex Scene Viagra

Are your love scenes limp? Do they lie there on the page, sad and pathetic, too depressed and self conscious to get it up? Come to this workshop, learn how to write a kick ass love scene, and never have to worry about sex scene performance anxiety again!

• Friday, July 17th, 3:00-4:30 p.m, location TBA: Grand Central Book Signing

Free books! It took me years to realize that you could get all sorts of free books at RWA nationals by going to the publisher signings. Who knew? (Well, obviously not me.)

• Saturday, July 18th, 8:00-10:00 p.m.: RITA & Golden Heart Awards Ceremony

To Seduce a Sinner is up for the RITA! I must admit that I was too shy to attend the RITA and Golden Heart Awards Ceremony at my first conference, but it’s a lot of fun and everyone is welcome.
