Max, our biggest Untrained Dog, met me at the door this afternoon, proudly wearing the remains of yet another broken tie-out lead on his collar. Sigh. We do keep getting him the strongest tie-outs we can find and yet he manages to break the one he has every couple of months. I bought him a new one today, “guaranteed” to hold a up to a 125 pound dog (Max is around 80 pounds.) Poor Rue! When I hook the tie out to her it’s like Marley’s ghost in A CHRISTMAS CAROL: drag…THUMP…drag…THUMP…
The monthly updates for my website are up early! Pride of place goes to the new Wicked Intentions page. You can mouse over the cover to view the beautiful stepback, read the excerpt, and pre-order on Amazon. I don’t have bookmarks yet for Wicked Intentions, but they should be coming in by the end of March or so.
What else? I have a new Book of the Month up on the Extras page, and a new website contest featuring books by Laura Kinsale and Margaret Mallory. Enter for a chance to win all three!

Elizabeth/Julia,
Winters in Ky are cold and grey and wet, quite wet this year. Fortunately for me I came across a copy of The Raven Prince at the library.I had a lovely afternoon of sitting on the sunporch reading your book. Usually I am quite content to wait and get them thru the library…not with yours.
I do have a slight complaint, your books are addictive. I know when I start one I am going to be up late until I finish it.I have read them all now .
Thank goodness,I got a great Borders gift certificate for Christmas.( from one my formerly whinny son…hang in there they do grow up ) Even more so when I realized Julia was your alter ego, what fun. Thank you for writing them and making my winter much more enjoyable.
I’m so glad you found THE RAVEN PRINCE, Coletta! Libraries are such nice places–especially in the dreary winter. We used to live near one that had a fireplace and big, cushiony chairs. Heaven!
I am really loving Wicked Intentions cover. It’s different, not so run of the mill but still gorgeous. August is too far away!
Glad you like the cover, Jennifer!
The colors are wonderful, aren’t they?
I didn’t need an incentive to buy your next book at all…but I love that Lisa Kleypas has the quote on the cover!!! Love her too.
Lisa Kleypas is one of my all time favorite authors–I was so pleased to get a quote from her!
