Just brought it home!! I’m so excited! Waiting for everything in the house to calm down so that I can concentrate and enjoy.
Any idea if or when it will be released in audio format?
Oh my goodness! I LOVED Mickey and Silence. LOVED Winter also and am so excited for his book and I am very intrigued by Asa.
I was nervous that you were going to have William come back halfway through the book and have a love triangle of sorts and I cannot tell you how glad I am you didn’t go down that road.
So far this is my favorite out of the Maiden Lane series, I feel like each book is better than the last. I think in “Wicked Intentions” Temperance’s character was fleshed out well, but Lord Caire’s was not as in depth. In “Notorious Pleasures” the characterizations were well done, but I felt the book was more just to move the story to “Scandalous Desires”. I loved both of the first two books, but this one really is just beautiful all the way around. Thank you. I look forward to Winter’s book and it will be downloaded on release day.
I’m done! Once again, this was beyond wonderful! I absolutely loved it. I don’t know how you keep doing it….. I always think that you can’t do it better, and then you do! Mickey was as wonderful as I had hoped, and Silence was so much more than I thought she would be. I am also already chomping at the bit for Winter’s book. I really saw him in this book, and I can’t wait to read about him in the next book. Thank you for your stories. They entertain and transport me away from the little stresses and headaches of everyday life.
SCANDALOUS DESIRES was perfect! I definitely fell for the pirate! You gave us more than I ever expected for Silence and Mickey and what a wonderful story it was! The “Maiden Lane Series” has stolen my heart and I look forward to reading Winter’s book. I have a feeling he’ll be much more than we ever imagined as well. And I just discovered that there are plans for #5 in December 2012, “Lord of Darkness” — who might that be — maybe Asa??? I hope we get a few glimpses of Mickey and Silence in the next two books!!! SCANDALOUS DESIRES is most likely going to head the list of my favorite historical books read to date.
